How it works

1. Enter book titles, one per line, and apply your reading list. Samples are fictional.
2. Add a shelf or theme in Status, and mark books you have finished.
3. Choose a shelf in Settings, pick a book and keep the result until you are ready to read.

A fresh pick from your unread shelf

All eligible books have equal chances. Finished books are excluded by default. Shelf tags are your own labels, such as fiction, essays or book club. Different editions can be separate entries when their titles include an edition label.

Your inputs stay with you

Your entries, settings and results are processed in this browser and are not sent to our server. Clearing browser data removes saved drafts and results. Export a text file if you want to keep a copy. Hosting may record standard page-request logs.

Will this recommend books from an online catalog?

This is a chooser for your own list, not an online catalog. It does not infer reading levels, availability, editions or suitability. Your finished status stays in this browser.
