How to use the wheel
- Add your names or choices, one per line. You can also start with a sample list.
- Choose a spin time from 1 to 10 seconds in Settings, then spin to pick an entry. Open Entry weights in Settings to change the odds.
- In the winner popup, choose Close to keep your list or Remove to take out the selected entry. Open Saved wheels to save on this device, import or export a wheel.
Understand the odds
Equal weights give each entry the same chance. Weighted entries take a proportionally larger slice. RandJoy uses your browser’s cryptographic random generator; the animation shows the selected result and does not determine it. Duplicate names are separate entries, so repeating a name increases its total chance.
Your list stays with you
The wheel runs in your browser. Names, results and saved wheels are not sent to our server. Hosting may record standard page-request logs. Optional Google Analytics runs only after you allow it and does not receive your wheel entries or results. Export a wheel to keep a backup or move it to another device. Read our Privacy page for details and choices.
A few useful answers
Can I pick without repeats?
Choose Remove in the winner popup after each spin. Only that entry is removed, and Undo restores it. Choose Close to keep every entry. If a name appears more than once, its other entries can still be selected.
Can I save my wheel?
Save up to 20 named wheels in this browser. These are local to this device and browser profile, not a cloud account. Export and import a JSON file to move a wheel elsewhere.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Use Edit entries to jump to your list. The winner appears in a popup with Close and Remove. The Results tab keeps your recent picks, and Fullscreen gives the wheel more room.
