Classroom rotation

How it works

1. Enter one distinct student name per line in Roster. Apply roster starts a round with those names. Use Attendance to uncheck anyone absent.
2. Pick next student selects from present students who have not yet had a turn. Picks stay recorded if someone leaves or returns. Undo last change reverses a pick or attendance change.
3. Picked shows the round in order. Copy, export or print the progress. New round clears the picked list while keeping attendance; a confirmation protects an active round.

A participation round, with room for absences

Each eligible student has an equal chance at the next pick, using browser cryptographic randomness. A student is eligible when present and not already picked in this round. Marking someone absent never erases their earlier turn. The tool records turns within the current round; it does not measure participation quality or balance turns across different classes.

Your inputs stay with you

Your entries, settings and results are processed in this browser and are not sent to our server. Clearing browser data removes saved drafts and results. Export a text file if you want to keep a copy. Hosting may record standard page-request logs.

Is this a classroom station rotation planner?

This tool rotates participation through a roster, one student at a time. It does not schedule station visits or create changing groups across multiple rounds. Use Random teams to split a class, Random pairing for partners, or Random seating chart to assign positions. Your current roster, attendance and round restore when you return in the same browser.
