Help people meet new partners across several rounds. How it works
- Enter 2–60 distinct names. In Settings, choose a maximum group size and up to ten rounds.
- Plan rotations. Each round contains everyone once, with group sizes differing by at most one.
- Read the repeat report, then copy, export or print the complete schedule. Generate again to try another arrangement.
Fewer repeats, with an honest report
For each round, RandJoy compares up to 100 shuffled balanced arrangements and keeps one with the lowest prior-pairing cost it found. This is a bounded heuristic, not a proof of the best possible schedule. Repeats may be unavoidable, and a better arrangement may still exist. The report lists every repeated pair meeting and its round so organizers can review the actual plan.
Your inputs stay with you
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. Settings and five recent runs use local storage; clearing browser data removes them. Export a copy to keep it. Hosting may record standard page-request logs, but generated rows and participant names are not sent to the server.
Can a group have just one person?
Yes, a maximum group size can force an uneven final distribution. Groups are balanced as evenly as possible, but a small roster or small maximum can leave a singleton. Increase the maximum size or change the roster if everyone needs a partner. This tool plans people groups; it does not assign physical stations or time slots.
