Ready for your next roll?
Start with two six-sided dice, or choose the dice your game needs.Dice options changed. Roll again to use your new settings.
How it works
- Choose how many dice to roll and a die type. For example, 2d6 means two dice with six sides each.
- Select Roll dice to see every value and their total. Custom sides lets you use any whole number from 2 to 1,000.
- Roll again for a new result. Previous rolls stay in Results. Copy or export the current roll, or clear your history with an option to undo.
A fresh chance on every die
Each die is selected independently with your browser’s cryptographic random generator and rejection sampling. Every whole number from 1 to the number of sides has an equal chance. Repeats are allowed, and the animation does not affect the outcome.
Your inputs stay with you
Your entries, settings and results are processed in this browser and are not sent to our server. Clearing browser data removes saved drafts and results. Export a text file if you want to keep a copy. Hosting may record standard page-request logs.
Does every total have the same chance?
No. Individual faces have equal chances, but some totals can be made in more ways. With two six-sided dice, there are six ways to make 7 and only one way to make 2. Use Random numbers if you want each number in a range to have the same chance.
