Meet your next color

Try a single swatch or generate up to twelve colors.

How it works

  1. Choose all RGB colors, pastel or vivid, then select 1 to 12 swatches.
  2. Generate colors and choose HEX, RGB or HSL for copying. Selecting a code copies that individual color.
  3. Copy or export all the current codes. Changing the code format keeps your selected colors.

Know the color pool

All RGB colors samples uniformly from the 16,777,216 possible 24-bit RGB values. Pastel samples a whole-number hue at 65% saturation and 82% lightness; vivid uses 80% saturation and 50% lightness. The displayed HSL conversion is rounded, so it may not reproduce every RGB channel exactly.

Your inputs stay with you

Do these colors form an accessible palette?

Random swatches are starting points, not a checked palette. Test text/background contrast and combinations before using them in a design. Colors can repeat, and the pastel or vivid setting changes the sampling rule rather than guaranteeing a coordinated set.
