Random version 4 identifiers. Generated entirely in this browser.

Draft and results stay in this browser. Export results to keep a copy.

Choose a quantity, then generate identifiers.

How it works

  1. Choose how many UUIDs you need, from 1 to 100.
  2. Generate identifiers and choose lowercase, uppercase or braces.
  3. Copy the current result, export a text file or revisit the last 30 results.

How these identifiers are generated

Each UUID uses browser cryptographic randomness with the version 4 and RFC variant bits set. The remaining 122 bits are random. Values are generated locally and are not checked against any database.

Your inputs stay with you

Your entries, settings and results are processed in this browser and are not sent to our server. Clearing browser data removes saved drafts and results. Export a text file if you want to keep a copy. Hosting may record standard page-request logs.

Are UUIDs guaranteed to be unique?

Collisions are extraordinarily unlikely, but this tool does not guarantee uniqueness across systems. Use your database constraints where uniqueness matters. UUIDs identify records; they are not a substitute for access control.
